Learn to Play the Drums & Djembe Program
The Village is offering a children and adults learn to play traditional and djembe drums, group sessions only (Max 4 students per session) and private piano lessons.. Instructor is Csaba Kanyasi who has taught drums for 25 years, including teaching at the Canadian Conservatory of Music. Csaba has had years of performing in the Maritimes and abroad. Lessons will begin early Jan. 2010 and will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings from 4:00-9:00 pm (Child earlier; youth/adults later) and possibly Saturdays in the morning pending on demand.
Fee to register is 150/10 group sessions (for drums only) or $38/45 mins individually for drums and piano. Minimum numbers of participants required. Please register now at the Village Office at the Civic Centre or by calling 681-6577 or 681-6972.
