Outdoor Enthusiasts /  wilderness fanatics:

Halifax Regional Search and Rescue in co-operation with the Orienteering Association of Nova Scotia is pleased to announce Eco-Endurance Challenge 2008.  E2C 2008 will be our 8th annual ROGAINE.  Each year the E2C grows in terms of number of participants and teams.  This year, the E2C planning committee hopes to grow our event and attract over 300 participants - so bring a friend and pass the word.

Profits from the E2C go towards the life-saving activities of Halifax Regional Search and Rescue and outdoor educational programs including the children’s ‘Hug-A-Tree’ program.

By now your feet have healed and you have forgotten the fatigue of 24-hours of fighting through the brush, streams and bogs of E2C 2007.  Perhaps you are even thinking, “hey, that was a lot of fun”.

Well, start training for spring, because in 12 weeks, April 26th and 27th 2008, you get to do it all again.  E2C 2008 will be held outside Halifax, Nova Scotia in a completely new competition area with a potential 220 square km zone with 60 points to navigate.
